What is coaching?
Coaching is the action of orienting and focusing
a client to discover their gifts, talents, wants, needs, values
and fears. The goal is for clients to discover what motivates
them and inspires them.
A
coach will help you move more quickly towards self-awareness. A
coach will direct you into new thoughts and concepts regarding
goal setting and reaching those goals. The coach has questions
the client has the answers.
Life Coaching,
will help your life from the inside out. We will explore your strengths and abilities, your purpose, your passion your values, your uniqueness, and your character. Living your purpose enables you to express your life in a way that is truly you. With the support of a coach you can consciously think about where you are going in life and make wise decisions and choices to get there. You can live with purpose and intention.
People, who have not yet discovered their purpose may be easily swayed, feel out of alignment, be indecisive, or compromise their values. Make it life that is made to fit; it’s like walking through life with comfortable shoes! Why squeeze into a mold that is not right for you? You only live life once; why not make it worth living?

What is the difference between coaching
and therapy?
Therapy is about processing your emotional history
or diagnosing and treating mental illness. Coaching is action-oriented
with a focus on the client's current plans for the future and how
to dissolve blocks that may be limiting the client's success in achieving
their goals.
Who uses a coach?
People from all walks of life, who
need to overcome certain obstacles to better their lives. Coaches
work with people individually or in groups. People who request
coaches are always in need to improve the quality of their personal
life in some way.
How does coaching
work?
Each coach sets their own schedule individually with
clients: once a week, or twice a week, depending on the
need of the client, usually in telephone sessions 30 to 60 minutes.
Sometimes coaching takes a face to face meeting.
There is e-mail correspondence maintained between sessions. Usually
a three to six month commitment is encouraged to get the full benefit
of coaching and transformation.
What can you, as
a coach, do for me?
To educate you about self-discovery, making you aware of areas that you need to strengthen and fine tune, so that you can prepare for the future. Continual education and learning is necessary if you want to grow.
To develop a purposeful plan that you can implement in order to move you toward your goals and help you succeed. Coaching can help you create a life that has purpose and meaning for you.
To grow: Applying what you have learned to help you grow. Growth requires that we make changes, even radical ones, to become the person we want to be. Choices + Changes= Transformation.

What can I expect from a coaching session?
We will
review your profile (profile done in first introductory session)
explore where you are stuck or struggling. You
will begin creating specific strategies to get unstuck and move
forward with confidence!
What
if I schedule a session and miss that session?
One of your responsibilities
is to keep the appointments agreed to between you and the coach.
You will only be allowed one cancellation. You will be charged
for the session, if you do not cancel or reschedule, or if you
miss it all together.
How do I hire the right coach?
One the more
important things to consider when hiring a coach is whether or
not the coach fits. Can you communicate with
ease? Each coach has a unique style and approach. Finding
the one that fits with your needs is key. That is why the free initial
session is very important.
